Full Description
{2} To the south (of the house) is a rectangular sunken garden bounded on three sides by a terrace. In the cnetre is a shallow circular depression, perhaps once a pond, from which radiate four low banks which were probably footpaths between flower beds. To the west of the house and sunken garden there is a massive retaining wall which has collapsed at its south end.
