Full Description
{1} Hollow way possibly re-used in C18th/C19th as a carriageway through the parkland.
{2} It is likely that the village was arranged around a north-south running road, which survives as Church Lane, running towards Sutton Bassett. It then perhaps passed immediately west of the hall and crossed the present park. NNW of the hall is a broad, shallow hollow way which although damaged, may be the original medieval road. Plan.
