Full Description
{1} North of the church, on land sloping steeply northwards, are traces of degraded earthworks in the form of mutilated platforms and ditched and banked enclosures. These appear to be the remains of former buildings, but none remained by 1839. Plan of earthworks.
{2} Remains of earlier village earthworks which lay around the church and the medieval manor house (which was held by the Knights Hosiptallers).
