Full Description

{1} The old Broughton road can also be traced across the park south-east of the hall as a broad hollow way, though this may have been used as a later drive to the hall in the C19th.

{3} Old Cransley to Broughton Road. The road was clearly still in use at the time of early OS survey (1810s) and Bryant's survey published in 1827. However by the publication of 1880s First Edition OS mapping Cransley Park had been extended and the road moved eastwards.

{5} There was no indication of the former road to Great Cransley in the geophysical survey corridor.

{6} In use up to c.1830.
