Full Description

{1} Cropmarks show three possible parallel ditches, which may represent part of a triple ditch system. NCCAP:SP8276/020.

{2} Magnetically strong responses throughout the north-eastern half of the geophysical survey area. These are indicative of former settlement activity and comprise two parallel linear ditch type anomalies, possibly an early trackway, and several strong pit/hearth type responses. Numerous weaker pit type responses lie further west.
