Full Description

{1} Cropmarks of possible enclosures and ring ditch. Photo no. NCCAP:SP8080/001-2

{2} The presence of the large sub-square enclosure was confirmed by geophysical survey and trial trenching. The ditch was up to 1.70m wide and 1.30m deep. Pottery from the ditch fills dated from the 1st century BC to the early middle 1st century AD.

A possible internal sub-division of the enclosure or separate enclosure enclosure of a different date dated to the early-middle 1st century AD. This ditch was 1.77m wide and 0.97m deep.
