Full Description

{2} Hollow way, continuation of 33/0/2. A broad depression between 1m and 0.5m deep, traceable for some 80m after which it has again been destroyed by ponds. Beyond the north westernmost of the ponds the hollow way has survived, 1.5 - 0.5m deep, and runs north west as far as the small stream which forms the parish boundary with Boddington. This hollow way appears to be an alternative to the Welsh Road to the east, possibly put out of use by the construction of the fishponds.

{3} The source has been associated with the site since 2003 and it has always been completely flat where the hollow way is said to be. Presumably therefore backfilled at some point in the late 20th century.
