{1} Good earthworks at manor farm.

{3} Surviving earthworks lie in a broad arc SW., S. and SE. of Manor Farm but, though clearly related to the village, these are not part of the settlement area. Immediately S. of the farm, in the valley of a stream (‘b’ on plan), are three rectangular fishponds. The central pond is now dry and the original dam at its S. end is broken through.
