Full Description

{1} Aerial photos: NCCAP: SP7742/1+6-7 & SP7743/1-2

{2} The main feature of the site was a broad hollow way, presumably the main through road, which ran approximately east west parallel with the stream. At its west end its line is continued by a broad curving headland which once joined Furtho Lane in Potterspury but the east extension of the road cannot be traced. The part of this hollow way immediately north east of the church was between 9m and 18m wide.
