Full Description

{1} Aerial photos: NCCAP: SP7742/1+6-7 & SP7743/1-2

{2} Immediately south of the hollow way, and east of the church, there was a series of rectangular paddocks bounded by banks and ditches with, to the south again, a large circular mound 20m in diameter and 1m high which still partly survives. Along the valley side to the west of the church and north west of Manor Farm there were other more indeterminate earthworks.

{3} The charity estate consists of the manor of Furtho and a farm there, comprising a house and several closes of land.
