Full Description

{2} The main track ran east from the east end of the village of Hartwell Green and then turned south to a point just north of Elms Farm. This part has now been destroyed but it is shown as a road in 1768 and indeed is still marked as a track on modern OS maps. To the south east of Elms Farm the road survives as 1.5m deep hollow way curving south-eastwards. It forks to the south and east at Hartwell End.
