Full Description

{1} A very damaged hollow way up to 1m deep runs from the west end of the site to immediately south of Trafford Farm where it turns sharply south and runs down the hillside to the river. To the west of the farm this hollow way widens into a roughly triangular depression from the north end of which another hollow way extends north and becomes a headland between rather narrow ridge and furrow. Part of the hollow way appears to have still been in use as a track in the early 19th century.
A third, narrower hollow way runs north east and then north west from the point where the first meets the river. Immediately north of the farm are traces of at least one enclosure bounded by low scarps.
