Full Description
{1} The main feature is a broad hollow way, only 0.5 to 1.0m deep, which runs roughly north-south in a broad curve. As this nears the River Cherwell it is cut by the most south-westerly of a set of fishponds. Below this the hollow way re-appears, and although its south-east end has now been destroyed by ploughing, it can be traced on air photos as far as the river. Marked 'a' on earthwork plan. Fig.39.
On either side of the hollow—way are traces of former closes, all damaged by later activity and none complete.
