Full Description
{2} The 1st edition OS map shows the field divided into two and a ditch identified in cropmark appears to follow the course of this boundary.
A pair of shallow ditches in trench 10 could represent boundaries associated with the nineteenth century division of the field as they closely match the cropmark evidence.
