Full Description
{2} There are no traces of the 'Garden Knottes' but the wall on the east of the garden is another low scarp. This part of the garden is closed on the south by a large flat-topped bank or terrace 1.5m high, with a low rectangular mound at its west end. The garden remains form only a part of a large area of earthworks which are bounded on the west by a low bank and ditch on the north by a deeply cut hollow way, perhaps on the line of an earlier ditch.
