Full Description

{1}Symolism of rabbits in medieval theology; structures associated with management might also have symbolic content; symbolism clearly visible at Triangular Lodge & wider group of monuments including certain English monastic pillow mounds; built by Sir Thomas Tresham between 1594 & 1597; famous for complex symbolism based around number 3; lodge's architectural features are designed more to allude to its theological symbolism than to assist with its practical use; article pursues further question of whether its function as a rabbit warren also had symbolic connotations;
