Full Description
{2} Identified as probable archaeology during the geophysical survey;
{3} A rectilinear anomaly was identified both by cropmark evidence and geophysical survey. The enclosure measured 18.65 long by 20.5m wide, with a c. 7.3m wide gap in the western side, which would presumably have formed an entranceway. The northern and south-western corners of this enclosure were identified during trial trench evaluation. The northern ditch was 2.3m wide and 1.2m deep. A single sherd of post-medieval pottery in the upper fill was considered intrusive.
