Summary

Cropmarks of a possible pit alignment were identified on aerial photography. The alignment extends c165m in a north-east to south-west direction. Trial trench excavation undertaken in 2014 did not identify any pits.

Full Description

{2} No evidence of this featrue was identified during trial trench excavation. The trench did cross a hollow in the field but no features were encountered either in plan or section. Possibly geological;
