Full Description

{2} From near the centre of the south side of this additonal group of gardens a broad raised terrace or bank extends south-south-west across the adjacent field leading towards a pond which already existed in 1580. The purpose of this bank is unknown but it was probably an access-way from the garden into the park. Earthwork plan.
