Full Description

{1} Aerial photos NCCAP: SP5170/001-17.

{2} These closes are bounded on the north by a hollow way (marked 'f' on the earthwork plan) which is the largest feature on the whole site, being as much as 2.5m deep in places. Though the hollow way has certainly been used as a street it is in fact also the line of the original stream and must have been used as a watercourse when the village was occupied, as the water from the fishponds to the east must have run along it.
