Full Description

{2} A small sub-rectangular bailey on the north east side of the motte. The bailey is bounded by a ditch up to 2m deep with an inner bank on its south and east sides but has been damaged by later activity, including the use of the ditch on the north side as a track.

{5} Attached to the motte's north east side is a small sub-oval bailey. This has banks on the south east and eastern sides and falls away into te motte ditch on the north side, facing the river. Enclosed is an area of approx. 500m square.
