Full Description

{2} Plan of earthworks.

{4} In a field called Lady Close in 1848, are some irregular closes or paddocks which survive. The lower parts contain ridge and furrow either within them, or riding over them. These earthworks are likely to be part of the manorial complex. Plan: Fig.146.

{5} Earthworks recorded. As well as fishponds the site includes manorial enclosures and hollow ways and other settlement remains formerly part of Welford.
