Monument record 9590 - Probable prehistoric settlement and funerary activity, south-east of Corporation Farm
Please read our guidance about the use of Northamptonshire Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
Cropmarks of at least three ring ditches, interpreted as Bronze Age round barrows, and several lengths of ditch identified on aerial photographs during the Northants NMP. Much of the area was quarried in the early 2000s, although the two southernmost ring ditches lay beyond the quarry edge. Archaeological observation undertaken during soil stripping identified part of a pit alignment.
