Full Description

{3} Medieval ridge and furrow cultivation is present in the eastern part of the development site. It is part of a wider system of cultivation previously recorded. Geophysical survey undertaken in 2007 to the north and south of the site recorded anomalies related to this cultivation.
Well-defined earthworks comprising ridge and furrow were present on the east of the site to the south of the stream. The north-north-east by south-south-west orientated ridges were up to 5.5m wide x 0.4m high. The interval between the ridges was approximately 9-10m.
