Monument record 2328/0/5 - Open Fields Project: Areas of Survival of Ridge & Furrow

Earthworks of medieval/post-medieval ridge and furrow cultivation identified on aerial photographs as part of the Open Fields Project. The earthworks are straight and narrow suggestive of a later post-medieval/modern date.

{3} Ridge and furrow arranged in end-on and interlocked furlongs.

{4} The earthworks are more narrowly spaced, chatacteristic of post-medieval/ modern agricultural practices.
