Full Description

{1} A shallow brick-lined structure possibly relating to a C19th garden layout. The structure was identified within two excavation trenches. It was aligned east-west, measuring 11m x 4m with curved north-east and north-west corners. The brick lining ran flush against the natural within a purpose-made cut. Along the southern length the brick lining was absent. The fill within the structure was a black organic silty clay containing C19th pottery.
