{1} Spinneys on either side of the main Northampton to Market Harborough road were known as 'Brickhill'and 'Little Brickhill' in the 1880's.

{2} Fieldnames: Brickhill & Little Brickhill Spinney either side of the Northampton to Market Harborough Rd are perhaps indicative of brickworks;
