Full Description
{1} Blisworth Brick & Tile Company, circa 1910. By 1928 was owned by Henry Martin and known as Gayton Brickworks. Closed in 1940.
{2} This pit is known to have operated around 1910, being owned by the Blisworth Brick and Tile Company. From the size of the quarry used the works must have been considerable although it appears to have had a relatively short life. What connection, if any, there was between this company and the Blisworth and Stowe Brick & Tile Co. at Nether Heyford is not known.
