Full Description

{1} Pottery was recovered as follows: 2 x 1100-1400 Miscellaneous Sandy coarseware, 1 x 1200-1600 Brill/Boarstall ware, 3 x 1250-1600 Potterspury ware, 13 x 1700-1899 Miscellaneous wares.
Undisturbed medieval deposits were encountered. It is likely that this area lay under the village fields as testified by the presence of ridge and furrow in the adjacent orchard.
