Full Description

{1}{2} A Watching Brief was carried out during the mechanical excavation of services trenches across the churchyard. A number of grave cuts were noted and a single sherd of Early-Middle Saxon pottery was recovered from one grave. Some human remains were observed but left in situ.

{3} A flint pebble found (a perfect sphere 3 - 3 inches diameter, with one section broken off and missing), was later discovered to be a "natural object".

{4} Present boundary shown but may have changed over time.
