Description

{1} A Watching Brief was carried out during the mechanical excavation of services trenches across the churchyard. A number of grave cuts were noted and a single sherd of Early-Middle Saxon pottery was recovered from one grave. Some human remains were observed. Minor details of the foundations of the N nave wall were also recorded.
