Please read our .

Summary

This row of houses on the north side of High Street South has workshops built against the rear of the plots, where an alley provides independant access. Two pairs of two-storeyed workshops were noted behind Nos. 103 and 105, and others, indicated on map sources, may also survive. The former had a central stack, the lattter a small stack on the west gable. The number of flues indicated heated upper floors only. In the front (south) wall No.105 has two entrances flanked by windows on the ground floor and two first-floor windows. The roofs were originally pantiled but there has been some replacement in asbestos.
