Full Description
{2} On the south-west side of the footpath is a broad hollow way, running south-east past the site of a possible third manor house and towards settlement remains. The hollow way cuts through the site of Pytchley Hall/Manor, and may be the road described in the C19th as passing over the site. However, since the hollow way is undoubtedly medieval in origin the road referred to may be the existing street which has clearly been straightened at some time.
