Summary
An archaeological watching brief further investigated a shallow pit or scoop intially identified during archaeological evaluation. It was the only feature on site not to contain post-medieval pottery.

Full Description
{1} A shallow clay filled feature containing medieval pottery. The feature displayed a slight W-E linearity which may suggest a terracing of the plot.
{2} A feature first identified by evaluation was clarified as a shallow scoop filled with medieval material.
{3} A shallow pit contained 12th to mid 14th century pottery.
