Full Description
{1} Field I yielded 7 worked flints and 6 Romano-British pot sherds. Flints included a fine blade from a well-prepared core in grey vitreous flint is probably late Mesolithic/early Neolithic in date. The majority of Romano-British pot sherds were abraded greyware body sherds probably dating to C2nd/3rd AD.
{2} Subsequent evaluation work failed to identify sub-surface features associated with the finds scatter.
