Full Description
{1} A solitary intensely magnetic circular anomoly was detected, which may represent a buried oven or kiln. In Field I a possible kiln was detected, but no other obvious archaeological features were detected in the vicinity. The surface pottery does not support the identification of a kiln in this field, and its location at a distance from any detected settlement appears anomalous.
{2} The presence of a possible oven or kiln was not confirmed by subsequent evaluation work.
