Full Description
{1} Comprises shell of derelict, roofless stone and brick barn aligned north-south. Adjoining to east is a stone walled corrugated tin roofed animal shelter open to the north. The latter has an apsidal/ polygonal shaped east end. Animal shelter continues in use; barn derelict and partly dismantled. Earthworks immediately to east indicate site of additional range or building. Presumed to be of early/ mid 19th century date.
{3} Two adjoining ranges define the N and W sides of a small yard (partly concreted, part grass) the E side of which is defined by a stone wall and timber fencing and the S side by a timber fence. N range is stone built, open sided to the S with modern breeze block pillars all under a tin roof; presumably an animal shelter. The W range is in an unroofed derelict condition; N and parts of E, W and remnant S walls of stone with some brickwork; later brick buttress and modern breeze block repairs. This range originally of 2 storeys.
