Full Description

{1} Double track tramway with steel cable driven by a steam engine by the kilns. Wagons were brought from the working faces to the cableway by single line branches by means of about a dozen horses (stabling is listed in the 1903 inventory).
The tramway was dismantled and there are few traces to be seen today, as earthworks of any consequence were not called for.
