Full Description

{1} Field 11 is a pasture field with low and faint ridge and furrow, aligned south-west to north-east. To the south-east, Field 12 is under grass. Its gently undulating surface may denote faint remnants of ridge and furrow. (There is no evident ridge and furrow in Field 14.)
No significant archaeological remains were detected by the walkover survey. While ridge and furrow survives in several fields it has all been ploughed to some extent and is only poorly preserved. The best surviving example in Field 3 represents only a small part largely lost or disturbed in recent raod and building developments.

{2} Fields 11-15, no evidence for archaeological deposits. Surviving evidence for past agricultural activity appears limited to the medieval open field system.
