Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking in October 1992 recovered three sherds of Iron Age pottery and four sherds of Romano-British pottery. There were also eight sherds of pottery which were unidentifiable.

{2} Three sherds of Iron Age pottery and four sherds of Romano-British pottery (along with a single sherd of early middle Saxon pottery, considered insufficient to indicate settlement of this period). The small amount of Iron Age and Romano-British pottery recovered presumably relates to the known cropmark site in the field.
