Full Description

{2} The largest assemblage of flint was gathered from Silverstone Site 3. The area which was later occupied by the Iron Age settlement may have formed a favoured location for transient activity in the earlier prehistoric period, perhaps principally in the earlier Neolithic, although some potentially later Neolithic and Bronze Age material was also found.
