Full Description

{1} Public house. Datestones 1745 and 1814. Squared coursed ironstone with slate roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic. 3-window range of early C19 sash windows with glazing bars under flat stone arches. Central C19 door under flat stone arch. Pair of hipped roof dormers and ashlar gable parapets and kneelers. Brick stacks at ends. Datestone in left gable is 1745 and in right gable 1814. C19 single-storey extensions to rear. Interior remodelled C20.
