Full Description

{1} In the extreme north-west corner of the field a stone scatter of approximately 30 sq.m. was identified. This comprised large lumps of limestone, some of which was burnt. Mixed in with this were a few hand-made bricks of post-medieval origin.
Whilst the evidence suggests a small post medieval building, it may only represent the dumping of rubble to consolidate a former gateway entrance into the field.
