Abstract/Summary

Archaeological evaluation took place on 20th November 1991 on an area of approximately 3.5 hectares to the south west of Brackley. The evaluation area was located in a field of some 10 hectares within the parish of Hinton in the Hedges at grid reference SP 577365. The work comprised fieldwalking consisting of four transects, thirty metres apart divided along their lengths into twenty metre stints. No evidence of a site pre-dating the PostMedieval period was recovered.
