Full Description

{1} Remains of a filled ditch, 2.3m wide and 0.6m deep. No dating evidence was recovered although the fill of the ditch was very disturbed by roots from an adjacent hedgerow. The ditch began to fill with water during the removal of its fill and seems likely to be a conduit for drainage. It may not be contemporary with the construction of the road and is likely to be associated with subsequent use of the road's alignment as a boundary.
