Summary

The slight earthworks of a former quarry pit were identified during field survey on the northern edge of Collyweston. The earthworks are now mostly levelled, although the extent has been mapped from lidar images as part of the Rutland Roman Villa project.

{2} The slight earthwork traces of an area of former limestone quarrying on the northern edge of Collyweston visible as uneven ground within field (centred at SK 9984 0329) which has been mapped from lidar images as part of the Rutland Roman Villa project.
