Full Description

{1} A silted up channel similar to that found in the evaluation trench 3 (130/0/175) was seen. Although the channel fill was similar in colour to that found during the excavation, it was not mollusc rich nor did it contain any artefacts. No certain link can be made between the two: one may feed into the other but this has not been proved. The two may form part of a drainage system of leats.
