Abstract/Summary

Archaeological watching briefs were carried out on land off Hinton Road, and at the Sturdy Concrete Works, Brackley. The watching brief on the land off Hinton Road confirmed that nothing of archaeological importance was present. At the sturdy concrete site a 13th century ditch was seen which may relate to a previously encountered water channel. Nearby, medieval pits may have lain within backplots of the former Hinton Road frontage.
