Full Description

{1} Two linear ditch features were located running parallel, 6-8m apart, in a north-west ot south-east direction, possibly forming a trackway, although there are indications of a third ditch. Ditched trackways are not uncommon in the Roman period although in this case their course almost parallel to Welsh Lane suggests they may be later.
