Abstract/Summary

A magnetometer survey along the proposed easement for a new pipeline between Thorpe Mandeville and Greatworth. The survey identified several areas of archaeological constraint, including two enclosure complexes of probable later prehistoric or Roman date, two isolated enclosures, and several linear ditches representing boundaries and trackways., Traces of medieval ridge and furrow were ubiquitous.
